Man, first real post on the PM blog, I wish it were better news. Recently, it has come to our attention that the encoder for our Percussion Video Portal has been doing a lot of screwy things…So if you’ve uploaded a video and it’s taking a while to encode (or only encodes in windows media format) please just give it a day or so, it should eventually encode the video. Videos that only encode in windows media format due to encoder error won’t be embeddable, so you may want to reupload if a flash version doesn’t generate within a few days. Also, Quicktime files are known to be very screwy and are usually the videos that don’t encode, so use .wmv files whenever possible.
